Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (E.Y.F.S.)

Whizz-Kids offers a comprehensive pre-school curriculum based upon The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (E.Y.F.S.) setup by the Government. The curriculum covers the seven areas of learning –

• PSED - Personal Social Emotional Development

• CL - Communication and Language

• L - Literacy

• M - Mathematics

• UW - Understanding the World

• PD - Physical Development

• EAD - Expressive Arts & Design

These are approached by taking into account nursery and home observations, and the individual needs and interests of the children. Children are taught both individually to suit their stage of development and in small groups by qualified members of staff. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are also taught using a well planned and structured approach.
